Subbed
Find a recipe. Make it yours.
Any recipe, adapted to your diet and how you like to see it.

What it is
Most recipe apps assume you can eat the recipe. Subbed doesn't. You save your substitutes once (flax egg for egg, coconut oil for butter, whatever your kitchen actually runs on) and every recipe you import arrives already adapted. No scrolling back to the ingredient list mid-cook to do the math yourself.

How I built it
I built it solo, end to end, in about two months. Flutter on Android, fully offline: SQLite and local preferences on device, a bundled substitution database, no backend, no accounts, no ongoing infrastructure cost. Import parses structured recipe data straight off the page with manual entry as a fallback, and accessibility was a build requirement from the first commit rather than a cleanup pass at the end (WCAG 2.1 AA at launch, screen reader support throughout).

How I worked
I'm not an engineer by training, so I ran the build as a pipeline of specialist AI agents covering product, UX, architecture, implementation and QA. What that left me was the part that doesn't delegate: deciding what ships and what waits, writing briefs tight enough to execute against, reviewing every output, and carrying the whole thing through closed testing, data safety declarations and release ops to a live Play listing.
